The closest shave was the slope up to IMM level 2. It was raining and I was stucked on the slope. When moving off, the tyre was spinning and I was slidding backward !!! WOW ! That's really a close shave ...

Thats scary man bro sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

I realise dthat all these tyre discussion are about Japanese tyres.Has any of you tried the Michelin MXT. Personally, I find the wet (and dry) grip excellent.

Prior to this, I was using Michelin MXV3A Pilot. Excellent road holding under all circumstances. That tyre lasted me 5 years (60,000km). There was still some thread left (within the legal limit), but I decided to change, as fine hair line cracks had appeared.

Before my current tyre ... I was using the Michelin MXV8 and it was horrible. sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

The tyre noise was unbearable .... and the wet grip was even worse. shakehead.gif

I still have the tyres on my original Mazda sports rims in my JB house .... waiting for me to trash it at PG laugh.giflaugh.gif

I have never used Aspec DB before but my Mom's 2003 Lancer is on it .... quiet tyres but wet grip for me can be much much better. But the way my Mom drives, should be ok as she is one carefully slow driver laugh.gif

When I drive the Lancer in the wet .... me dun dare lah to WOT , simply put nod.gif

A lot of the trashing for this tyre is only based on stories that I hear from its users dizzy.gif and also based on that .... why I never bought or used the tyre nod.gif
