Can I take a close second place please My strongest suspicion is the idle-valve that has led to her car stalling all the time... But her idle valve can be readjusted manually mah ... just a plier and allen key would be able to do the job .... did u try to make any adjustments ?? I reckon it is carbon build up, leading to a stiff and erratic valve, which inadvertently leads to an disproportionate air-fuel ratio in, and can lead to stall....believe me, in my 318, this was the cause, and the sign/symptoms pretty similar here.... I've never experience it before so I am none-the-wiser on it. But since you have on the 318 , I think she should go back to her agent and get it fixed (based on your related experience) .... as its quite easy to do , no need for major jobs. Hers auto is it ?? They forgot 4 things I have - brains, the ability to read, mouth to consult friends & the forum to post threads.
