Sealtan 1st Gear January 13, 2004 Share January 13, 2004 Hi: I am currently using Yokohama AVS dB 235/40/18 for my 520i. I have used them for quite sometime now. My opinion of these tires are: Dry grip: very good (comparable to ST115 or Toyo Trampio Vmode that I've used) Wet grip: good to very good (even try it on North-South under rainy conditions at 180 kmph) Braking: excellent on dry and wet. Steering feel: good. These tires are not cheap but definitely worth it as they are really quiet (compared to other performance tires). Their quietness is amazing even though the tires that I am using are very low profile - 40 series and 18". If you are one who is going for performance and quietness, then the AVS dB are the tires you should get! I bought them at Eng Wah Tyres located at Toa Payoh Industrial Park. Browse Neutral Newbie January 14, 2004 Share January 14, 2004 I had just changed mine to Yokohama V550 (235/45/R17) for $220/pce @Bedok Road Shell station near Bedok Post office. Contact Ah Chuan for quotation. He is a reasonable guy. As for the tyre...is quiet and the grip is good for dry and wet surface (maybe its still new).
