Modeldriver Neutral Newbie January 11, 2004 Share January 11, 2004 Think the function is very very similar - both are supposed to create some vortex in the airflow - although Cyclone has been around much longer I believe and the manufacturering has come up to some level of 'credibility' plus a warranty on the thing. Surbo is a local product I think - the vanes are also more exposed than cyclone. A friend tried both. Not sure about cyclone, but for surbo his results weren't too impressive. Leonknapp Clutched January 12, 2004 Share January 12, 2004 Are the function and design of both cyclone and surbo the same? Any comments over these two products? Cyclone works on swirling the air, Surbo works on compressing the air. Totally different concepts. Personally I have used Surbo and feel it works. Cyclone did not work and was much more expensive. The only cyclone I think has potential is the exhaust one. More info: http://www.surbo.net/faq.html Most of the queries can be answered here! Cheers!
