After going thru almost all the thread in this folder, I'm still confuse as to what tyres I should get confused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gif

Driving style :

Straight Rd, Drive normally;

Corners, 90% faster than most drivers (eg. SLE->BKE corners abt 65-70kph)

Wet, Drive normally with more safety margin;

I'm leaning towards the 712 but read so many posting abt bad wet behaviour and noise...

How bad is bad for wet handling?

Currently using Bridgestone Pontenza RE030 on my Airtrek smile.gif Budget should be less then $150/tyres sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

SO3 is also one of my ideal choice. I know that Chromas is sellingit at a good price, but apparently he will not be bringing in the size that I want (215/55/16) Know of any shops that offer a gd deal for SO3?

Yeh... Actually I've use this for my previous ride, the early screehing makes for entertaining drive but the noise level keeps building up as months went by sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif ... Will be my choice if I can't find another tyre at reasonable price. Want to try out "quieter" performace tyres.

Every tyre brand have different ranges from low end to high end to cater to different consumers'. There's much talk about the Advan Neova AD07 now especially in SHC and other Delphi forums so your saying yokos no good?

You've never seen the good ones yet! [nod] Yoko AVS Sports! [thumbsup] This one has pretty high aquaplaning resistance.

Actually the standard size is 205/60/16, but since most perf tyres come in max 55 series so need to find alternative size...
