Dualie Clutched January 5, 2004 Share January 5, 2004 (edited) After going thru almost all the thread in this folder, I'm still confuse as to what tyres I should get Driving style : Straight Rd, Drive normally; Corners, 90% faster than most drivers (eg. SLE->BKE corners abt 65-70kph) Wet, Drive normally with more safety margin; I'm leaning towards the 712 but read so many posting abt bad wet behaviour and noise... How bad is bad for wet handling? Currently using Bridgestone Pontenza RE030 on my Airtrek Budget should be less then $150/tyres Edited January 5, 2004 by Dualie ↡ Advertisement

E36UDM Neutral Newbie January 6, 2004 Share January 6, 2004 Can consider yokohamas as well AVS Sport or ES100.
Saaber Neutral Newbie January 6, 2004 Share January 6, 2004 For street use, Kumho 712 is quite good for the amount you pay for it....
Dualie Clutched January 6, 2004 Author Share January 6, 2004 SO3 is also one of my ideal choice. I know that Chromas is sellingit at a good price, but apparently he will not be bringing in the size that I want (215/55/16) Know of any shops that offer a gd deal for SO3? Dualie Clutched January 6, 2004 Author Share January 6, 2004 Yeh... Actually I've use this for my previous ride, the early screehing makes for entertaining drive but the noise level keeps building up as months went by ... Will be my choice if I can't find another tyre at reasonable price. Want to try out "quieter" performace tyres.
E36UDM Neutral Newbie January 6, 2004 Share January 6, 2004 Every tyre brand have different ranges from low end to high end to cater to different consumers'.
