308 comes with new engine and gearbox range, suspension tweaked as well

new engine is the same as mini cooper/cooper-s

308 replaces 307, the numbering is obvious enough, there are 308 on sale, saw 1 or 2 but snapped up fast, prob display/test drive set

depends his budget

if he wants entry level nice french cars the 307/308/c4 are good options

Personally I love the design of 307/308cc.

Not until my SIL & BIL told me their horror on <4yrs 307cc...

1st, rear lamp flooded, AD say repair (not replace).

2nd, it was the black plastic frame on windows, turned grey and texture become unsightly. AD says - it's like that one.

3rd, door-handle (cover for key-hole) drop-out. AD says - opps, can repair, since after 3 yrs have to pay. WTF, who's key cover dropped out after 3 years?

4th, whole door-handle drop-out drop-out, AD says - opps, you all too rough with the door-handle lah, can repair, just pay. WTF,,,

better coming....

5th engine-light lighted up, gear-box problem. AD say - opps, can repair, pay lah >$1250.

6th engine-lighted again, gear-box problem. AD say - last time (2 months ago) repaired different place in gear-box, can repair, pay lah....WTF,,,

Only SIL & BIL can take that kind of crab from AD SA,,,

Another friend driving 407 - change gear-box within 1 yr of ownership.

SIL & BIL drove continental cars (Saab/Audi/BMW/Merc) all the time, this is worst car ever owned.

Just bought a peugeot 206 1.4 Auto (Tiptronic)

I been trying to get myself registered with the singapore peugeot club too ... but have not been approved yet... many days already...

I am also thinking of getting full sports body kits ($3,100) but don't know whether to get original from Auto France or do outside later... due to collect car next week... so need to give Auto France an answer by tomorrow (Friday)....

Also want to check with you guys... if it's worth to get the $800 service package... include free service with oil and parts for the 3yrs/60,000km

Thanks... hope someone can help

Vincent Ang

I wish to buy a Peugeot 206 from a direct owner as advertised here http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...408&DL=1000

but I could not find Peugeot forum locally as I need to read/know what is the pro/con of Peugeot 206.

Can anyone here guide me? It used to be in here http://www.peugeotsingapore.org but they had shutdown their forum recently.

Fuel Consumption Survey ($10 worth of parking coupons presented upon completion)

The aim of this survey is to collect data on the actual fuel consumption and kilometers travelled per litre of fuel for different categories of vehicles of different ages. You can do a part by helping us keep a record of fuel pumped and the odometer reading for 10 consecutive pumps.

To register, please send us an email (Sze Hwee: [email protected]) with your details (Name; age; gender; email address, contact (hp); mailing address) and the vehicle

Hi guys, i have some Peugeot Autofrance Servicing vouchers which i am looking to sell at a lower price. This voucher can used to offset the amount for your normal servicing. FYI, i've just done my first 2500km servicing and used these vouchers to make the payment.

i'm not sure if this is right to post this type of enquiries in THIS forum but if this is something that i shouldnt do, please let me know and i will remove this post. (My apologies in advance)

So for those who owns a Peugeot and are interested in saving some money on your servicing, please PM me or sms me for more details.

Is there really no forum for peugeot? Been seeing http://www.sgpeugeotclub.com but its isnt active, msg board mentioned it is under maintenance...true? The reason why i ask is that MCF for peugeot is quite dry, so want to zhng car also like cant share much with each other.

If you have any feedback on this ride, please comment accordingly. Thanks and cheers.
