What exactly is the capsule??? Can you actually install both together? How's the effect? Anyone care to highlight his experience?>

From what I understand, both are connected to the vacuum hose.

E68 works along the same principle as Ecotek - basically a controlled leak directly to draw more air into the intake manifold (i.e. bypassing your trottle body which takes air from the filter box). More are usually means greater combustive forces, and hence enhanced power. Results vary from cars to cars - on my Stream and a friend's JDM Accord 2.4 some improvement, but not very marked. On another friend's Estima, the torque gains were pretty impressive.

Not sure about how the Capsule works, but friend's experience was next to ziltch.

Someone mentioned that installing the E68 without the capsule is like taking pill without water. [confused] So the two of them is supposed to go hand in hand?

Capsule , Monster, Gunigong.. they works the same way. it serve as a air reservoir that goes in btw the vacumn hose and intake manifold.

Personal experience of adding Gunigong is that it improves the low end response. Meaning I can go easier on the throttle, hopefully keep it that way to improve the consumption.

I believe so ... but Remy, Super4 and Norm_Aspirated have got both installed in their rides. And they think its a good combo. thumbsup.gif

I got E68 and now thinking seriously whether I should go the Capsule route. Maybe DIY cause TurboBrick gave me some ideas. nod.gif

Some E68 look-alike that is tested on some guys' carburetted Starlets. Gives it a lot of oomph! Same thing with it tapping directly to the intake manifold so that the engine breathes more air for combustion.

Thing I don't like about these things are the wire mesh filter. No doubt there are several meshes for the filtering, lots of junk do get into the car. K&N's and oiled cotton filters are guilty of this as well.

BTW, the junk is mainly silicon based compounds. Sand, clay and soil. Stuff that flies around on the road on hot dusty days.

Oil analysis have proven this. Most K&N installed cars show elevated levels of silicon in the used oil.
