What is your definition of a Dangerous driver?

My definition would be those who knows sxxt about their own cars and speed up when someone is trying to filter lanes.

Mine would be those people who tailgate like nobody's business. Cutting into lanes without and signs or warning.

hahha those are more like careless drivers man. i really worried about these drivers too. 1 wrong move could cause hell lot of a problems for others.

I don't think tailgating is done out of carelessness. More due to being impatient.

Tailgating is rather subjective. As our car backside is rather high, its very easy to misunderstood that others are tailgating us.

Hey agreed with you. When I first changed to this car, felt like other cars behind are always so close to me and seems like tailgating....after a while get used to... But if someone really tailgates, simply tap on the brake light and driver behind face will turn green!

 

 

But I find those that speed up on purpose just when you want to filter lane is typical driving in sgp and i've encountered a few times when that car seems quite far away, just when i wanted to filter, it speeds up and horn + flash headlights. Wonder what is the purporse? Kiasu?

well only them will know. But i always tell myself, if they hit me, i've got nothing to loose. I get a new bumper and a spray job, maybe new tail lights even. So bring it on.

Agree with you wholeheartedly..........only seems apparent in Sgp.....typical KIASU attitude.........cannot let people in.........lorries, buses, cars, motorbikes the like.........all seem to practise this stupid habit.....

 

Drove in UK in November & never once did I encounter this phenomenon.......over there they even are so courteous enough as to flash to u to filter in !!! What utter morons we have here in Sgp we call drivers !!

I'm sorry. I beg to differ. The local drivers here in Singapore, majority alike are not by any means related to me or us. They are not called drivers, they are mere machine operators.

hmm..strangely even in m'sia i find they drive differently from us here. They drove fast and sometimes ignore traffic rules...but majority do not do kiasu style as not to let u filter lanes... in fact when i signalled in the city of KL, car slow down (most of the times though) ...wonder izzit mine is a sgp plate and they tend to give way?

 

maybe our city is too small....and owning a car is like a BIG thing to some people here and thus those syndrome appears....but not for big countries where a car is like a pair of leg to them just like walking and become a second nature....
