Colt MIVEC has no variable valve timing?

Hi! Read somewhere that the MIVEC engine in the new Colt does not come with variable valve timing technology like the VVT-i. Is it true?

What dya mean? Something like CVT? Colt is CVT, not conventional AT...

MIVEC stands for 'Mitsubishi InnovativeValve timing and lift Electronic Control system', in ALMOST the same concept as VVT-i and VTEC... btw, it's an engine technology... not transmission like CVT

 

I believe the new colt has the MIVEC, but not tuned for performance.

The new MIVEC is a calm one. It is the same as Grandis Mivec... unlike the Lancer Mivec or Galant Mivec. It is tuned for efficiency...

The MIVEC was on license from Honda's VTEC, that's what I heard
