Starlet Neutral Newbie December 12, 2003 Share December 12, 2003 Hi Is it when you release your foot brake , the brake on the wheel is still "on" ? Brake jam. if so , that mean your car's brake need to be service. Clean and replace oil seal.

Madarmour Neutral Newbie December 12, 2003 Share December 12, 2003 From what you've described. It seems that you have a wheel lock. Conditions then (wet ground) makes it more likely to happen than dry. When you have a wheel lock, you will lose control of your car. You can't steer and you can't stop and it's mighty scary! I would assume that your car does not have ABS, or else you would have told a different story. First things first. Have your tyres checked and have them changed if needed. Next is how to minimise wheel lock in future. The way to do it is to pump your brakes in rapid succession. This is sort of like creating your own manual ABS. It's like brake and before the wheels has a chance to lock, release brake, and brake again. Just my $0.02.
