Zees Neutral Newbie August 1, 2002 Share August 1, 2002 I did my rotating/balancing/alignment twice (my car clocks 18,000km at the moment). Well the first time (5,000km) costs me RM50. Madarmour Neutral Newbie August 1, 2002 Share August 1, 2002 Actually, wheel alignment has to follow factory specs and not just 'tikam'. An up-to-date shop should have an optical equipment to read the alignment, updated softwares on various vehicle's settings, stock and lowered. The trained mechanic will then align the wheels based on the recommended settings. We are not race drivers, so we don't have the time to try out various settings. Luckcent 4th Gear August 2, 2002 Share August 2, 2002 Mike, many cars on the road these days, alignment can be done normally to toe in/out. Most cars' camber/castor are not adjustable and needs to be modified. Normally, it needs no adjustments unless car have an accident. Am I right.
