New Nissan Sunny CVTC/E-throttle, Fuel consumption

You guys have any idea what is the fuel consumption of the new sunny? Went down to the showroom and was told that the CVTC engine is more fuel efficient. Cliamed to be abt 12-13km/L. Not sure whether this is true? But i would be glad if this is a reality.

 

So guys pls share if you drive this car and comments on its performance and other stuffs as well...

 

Know Tan Chong Motors offer some kits to enhance fuel efficiency. You guys know what are they? Effective and the cost?

 

Note: Heard that next year 04', there will be a complete New Sunny? Is this true? How it dffers from this one?

My fuel consumption varies from 11-12.5 km/L.

My colleague using the same vehicle gets 13-15 km/L.

We both bought our Nissan Ex 1.6 Manual in Sep 2003.

 

The difference? He uses the highway everyday,and sometimes switches off the aircon.

I don't use the highway everyday....

 

In other words, HIGHWAYS make the BIG DIFFERENCE.

Humm...mine is EX Auto...at the best I got is around 11km/l...12-13...don't think easy to achieve....frankly speaking the fuel consumption is not very good...other then that it's okie lor...TCM got sell some grounding cable which they say improve miledge lor...my sis car got install 1...but not much different....think the new sunny will share some common platform with renault.....
