Ruriimasu 1st Gear December 16, 2011 Share December 16, 2011 just went for a scheduled half-yearly servicing in my 2.5yr of the car. got free engine oil change and spark plugs (which i rejected since mine is better). they said must change AT fluid and filter and such. all added up to almost $300. just wondering if i could get the paid portion done cheaper at a reliable workshop elsewhere? preferably in ubi area since i stay near there and there are quite a number of workshops in the industrial area. Hi Ruriimasu, If you want, i can forward an address for a workshop at Eunos. I used to live in Ubi with my parents. My dad is driving a Proton Wira and he goes for servicing at the Eunos workshop. I used to drive his Wira but now got myself an Exora and will be going to the same workshop anytime soon for my 50k servicng.
Anakin Clutched January 13, 2012 Share January 13, 2012 Pls post here for proton owners to consider ... mine warranty expiring in May so no more free servicing liao ...
Noirmubin Clutched January 13, 2012 Share January 13, 2012 The workshop is at Eunos Industrial Estate Ave 4, Blk 1062, Unit #01-219. You can look for Mechanic Ibrahim. He works with his partner Mechanic Tan or Chuan (can't recall the name) but can look for Ibrahim first. My dad has been servicing his car with them since the late 80s (when he drove a Mazda) and up till now his Wira car. For info, I have been there a couple of times. Once my dad's Wira - the exhaust pipe fail inspection at Kaki Bukit Centre so we go to the workshop. They change the exhaust pipe to the approved one. Also, there was once the Wira kena bang from behind..so when there for repairs and they brought us to their recommended workshop for repairs and claims - less hassle. So I got no qualms about sending there for my Exora servicing. Anyway no obligations guys...you can ask for advice or quotes from them.
