Fabiaman 1st Gear December 7, 2003 Share December 7, 2003 Suggest get a bigger speaker to cope with your "blasts". Change surely must change lah, but this time might as well get a bigger one. Alternatively, get a subwoofer so that your new speakers does not have to thump and thump the bass that you are playing. Thats because the low frequencies willl be transfer to the subs hence leaving the mids and the highs to the speakers (easier on the spkr rubbers) Also check your amplification power if its underpowered. An underpowered amp trying to do too much will harm your speakers much faster than an overpowered amp trying to "fry" the speakers. If you like to wack the music loud, suggest get a powerful amp too. Alan22 Neutral Newbie December 7, 2003 Share December 7, 2003 ermm a basstube can range from 70 plus for second hand to 200 plus for first hand.. depending on the size too.. and the type.. active or passive... for ur info.. the basstubes are add-ons... if u juz wan to leave with normal bass.. den get ur front and back speakers changed to any bigger component speakers.. use the amp to power them up.. should be enuff for normal hearing.. if u wan to tumping..ahbeng bass music.. den muz at least a basstube (add-on) or build a subwoofer box in ur boot(add-on)
