I'm having difficulty to decide which color for my new FD civic , have narrow down to black and silver, but each have it's pros and cons, I like black but worry the car interior will be very hot even though have v-kool as black will absorb heat also, as for silver, the interior could be cooler but get stain and dirt easily, especially the roof and those lower parts of body panel, please advise.

Thanks

I own a black civic and i muz say its very hard to maintain esp for me, i work in jurong industrial area, business nature is manufacturing, dealing with lots of cutting heavy steels and metals and repainting and spraying. My car park in open space, half a day u will see a layer of dust on the car, when rainiy day, tats it. nbeside that, tint paint droplet during spray work of steel will land onto the paint, although not visible but when detailing very heart pain. However if u park ur car indoor, a black civic will not be that hard to maintain compare to my case. Imo, black civic is very chio among compare to the rest of the colour.

Hi bro W13ng, you apply the glass compound just like the polish for paint work. Pour a 5 cent coin size of product on the applicator, work on a 2'x2' area with firm pressure. You can use circular motion or in to and fore motion. After you are done with the whole windscreen, you can buff off using a dry or wet towel.

Beware of the residue staining the plastic parts around the wiper area.

Hi bro Southpark2000, I have tried both the glass compound and the Autoglym Glass Polish. The glass compound is more aggrasive than the glass polish, it will strip off whatever is on the windscreen and after applying the glass compound, the windscreen will no longer bead water.
