How to remove water spot????

Have u tried polishing it off?? Last few weeks I have some bird sxxt hardening and I just spray some water without wiping it off...

 

When I washed my car I had a shock that I cant get rid of the marks . Thankfully after applying some polish the marks are gone..

After switching to P21S (from zaino), I noticed that there were water spots on my car. Especially bad on the roof. Marks so bad I couldn't remove them with the P21S cleanser. In the end, actually used scratch-x to rub them off. These marks are not visible under daylight. Only saw them when looking at an angle under the flourescent lights in my office carparks.

 

Planning to go back to zaino to see if the same problem occurs.

 

So, in answer to the question, if it's real bad you may have to use a polish as opposed to a wax.

Oh no, hoped u can rectify the situation. I think watermarks cant be left for long as it will stays on car..must get rid immediately.

think Z6 is quite ok for removing water marks

for worse ones, can use Z5 polish, just polish abit then wipe off

scratch-x removed most of it. will probably switch to zaino for rainy season and wax for dry seasons

Water mark is not casued by Zaino.

 

Watermark is when you left your car to dry naturally and dirt get trap within the dropets of water and when the water is done, the dirt stays behind as it is not able to evaporate like water do.

 

So no matter what product you use, watermark will always happen.

 

Best way to prevent them is to wash the car as soon as possible (if immediate lagi best !!). Avoid parking under hot sun after a rain or when your car is wet.

 

To remove them, someone said to use Z6. Can also...but if Z6 is unable to remove, a tab of Z1 will help remove the watermark. But if the stain has already settle in...you have to use abrashive product like stracth X or 3M scratch remover to do it.

can get P21s at Bronze car man. It's over in the West, along the way to Tuas.

 

I've been observing P21S. Realized that the water marks last time was probably because it rained same day as I polished the car. Probably wax didn't have time to cure. Subsequently, no problem after applying P21s. Probably because weather was hot and wax had time to cure. Also noticed that if P21s had time to cure, the waxed feeling stayed on the car for more than a week.

 

Quite happy with it. Now, trying with a base coat of zaino, followed by P21s.

I believe it was due to some water that dried up after cleaning up birdshit. Cant see it under sunlight unless looking at it from a certain angle. It looks as if the marks have eaten slightly into the coating. What products would you guys suggest to help remove it?

You need professional cutting tools to remove the top layer of your paint. Scratch X or watever polish wont remove watermarks once they etched into your paintwork. The harder you rub, the more scratches u get.

ok. guess i'm stuck with it then. besides professional tools, is there anyway i can protect the area? will application of klasse AIO, SG and wax suffice? i suppose the marks wont eat further into the paintwork anymore rite?

Try using scratch x for a few times. SG will help to hide the water spot abit.

Use wax and polish to hid it, this is only temporary as you need to renew the wax and polish as and when.

 

Get professional cutting tools - bare in mind, this will thin the top coat in order to rectify it

 

Get professional help - thin the top coat as well

 

 

Water etch will comes back due to our weather conditions.
