Rattling noise coming from dashboard

Any1 encounter this b4?

my rite is a Lancer 1.5 GDI auto....

 

its sound like something loose inside there... apart from C&C where can i send for a check ???

Any workshop should be able to do the job... Can u figure where isit coming from? Its better to know where exactly before sending down... Saves time...

My ex-6th generation lancer used to have this wierd vibrating sound..

 

After much fiddling around, I found out the sound comes from the rear view mirror. Apparently, it was not held very tightly to the windscreen. Try pressing it against the windscreen to check if your problem is similar to mine.

Hi,

 

I used to have this problem before, at first i thought the sound came from the right air con vent. so I sent it to C&C (pandan). They found the problem (Speedometer glass loose), so the insert a piece of paper inside it, and no more rattling noise when driveing and in fact it will sound even at stationary position.

 

So Send your car down when your next servicing session is due, no charges needed.
