yeah.. good point on finding out what those guys did.

we won't know if they probed a tuning tool into the ecu and did some tuning.

afraid that they changed some values on the PROM.

so maybe resetting the ecu won't help.

keeping fingers crossed.

But the ECU worked fine for 8 days? If they changed the program, normal procedure should be initiate a reboot and test if program working. So I should be using the new program from day 1. [confused]

Now need to test so many things

1) Reset ECU

2) tyre pressure

3) fuel filter/gearbox [confused][confused]

OK reseted ECU, seems to be better but still sluggish. Not as much but still. tyres were good, on the high end of recommended inflation.

Travelling at 100km/h can maintain at 2100RPM. Quite OK.

Fuel consumption sucks big time for previous tank. Will see how this new tank of NEW shell works out [thumbsup]

Thanks for all the help bros/sis.

Nonetheless, I think I should "encourage" the TA to check it on my next servicing.

No goodies leh. Just a 4 inch pipe to the front, DIY oil filter magnet and fuel line magnet. I had more before this happened [sly]

good to know that resetting ECU solved some of your problems.

Altho it's fantastic news to hear that your speed at 100kmh is 2100rpm...thumbsup.gif

your economy should be improved by a lot by now.

however not too sure by what u mean as still sluggish.

in order to ensure that resetting the ecu solved majority of your problem, u should pump the same brand of petrol, just to keep all variables constant.

Hehehe.....at least you guys have ECUs. Mine has a carburetor and 20psi fuel line. Compare that to most of you fellas with ECUs, 80psi fuel line, fuel rail with EFIs.

Mine is really old! [sweatdrop]

My sluggish,

Normally, from stationary, I da-U to 2000RPM, then slowly to 2500RPM, and gear shifts up and RPM drop to 2000RPM and repeat till optimium speed.

Nowadays, sometimes, da-U, gear shift till 60KM/h then da-U to 2800RPM still no gear shift, cross 3000RPM, then shift up [thumbsdown] .

Better than before ECU reset still worse off.

petrol, couldn't resist 15% off and no RON92 so take RON95.

looks like yr tuning has been altered.lipsrsealed.gif

also, check wif yr regular mech to see if the gear change cable can be adjusted to change earlier...maybe this part was tweaked/adjusted.

mine is auto and the cable can be adjusted to allow for a higher gear change. not sure if yours is having a similar concept.
