no problem to mix. anyway it's for emergency. you will prob send your car back to the tyre shop, then you can refill it with nitrogen.

as stated

i read from somewhere that stamford offers to fill 1 tire at S$10

a one time fee and subsequent fill is free

but what are the advantages?

personally, i wouldnt bother paying for it, i go for regular free air.

if you need to refill your tyre pressure every week, something is wrong.

constant or stable tyre pressure is extremely critical in racing world, we are not in that environment, so a little variance in pressure wont kill or change the car's handling so much that it affects our drive home.

well, if it is free, go for it. if have to pay, forget it. but that's just me ..... [:p]

Agree. Basically I found it too troublesome to go all the way to the shop I bought my tyres from for the "free" N2 top-up, when every petrol station has air pumps. So if it's convenient, I may stick with N2 top-ups.

As someone has pointed out, Air is made up of 78% Nitrogen already!

Maybe we can try 100% Helium for the tyres? Makes the car lighter! sly.gif
