hi Raptor,

Hmm... I guess Sammo treat gals better. Just joking

I am not sure of this, but my issue is when they do good no one will bring it up, but when they did something wrong everyone open fire. I recall my dad once said "pick someone you own side" I qustion here why when singtel made an "honest mistake" no one dare to meow them, but when a small fly, in this case CA everybody join in the firework?

I am work up no b'cos sammo is being put to the test or in the line of fire.... but b'cos many details of many story is left out making him the axx-hole. I been to CA and many time I saw a "fight" it is started by some low class owner and acount given is not very true and some thing left out, when it is in this forum. yes you know who you are, but I guess that low few low class owner did not take any notice of me b'cos I am siting at the sale correr side working on my lap top...... (or they are to busy trying to pull a fast) end of day when I try to match the story and what happen, I come to know alot detail is left out, thus making the story more juices.... thats the reason I once post " can we be a more high class?"

whatever.....

whatever I said here is here and I give my word that no one outside this pages will know anything abt this. but the funny thing is when there is some thing damage and it's due to a mod.... someone will still say " my car is still under warranty even the car is from JTA and I want it to be on the house". sign..... the road to the turth, have many many turn.........

cheers

Dun you all think that we should help to build the image of Skoda rather than to de-grade it?

I always feels happy when I see another Skoda on the road. I always tempted to give the skoda driver a honk or a wave. (but afraid people dun like it)

If CA can have better image, then owners will have a better time too.

I always wonder whether CA can organise events like talks, seminars or car rally etc for all skoda owners.

Anyway they are moving soon to another plot of land along alexandra road, hope for better service when they integrate the VW, Renault and Skoda under one roof.

[thumbsup] Yep, agree.

Interesting exchange of opinions or should I say debate.

Whatever the situation the authorised agent is still important to us, whether we go there for servicing/repair or not.

Though the service at Czech is not up to our standard and satisfaction (generally speaking), to be fair, we have to give them more time to improve and buckle up.

B4 I continue, must state that I am not related or in any way connected to them. My contact with them is customer/agent relationship. I know sam and can empathise his position in the company and in this situation that was discussed.

We buy skoda product, let live by it. If the agent is not to our liking, let not condemn her for 'life'. We can choose not to service our ride there, it's our choice, do remember, whether we like it or not, their presence or absence affect us.

Being agent means that they are not only accountable to customer support but also to head office Skoda in czech and feedback on spares usage and components reliabiality and replacement reporting, which outside workshop need not do.

If skoda owner keep away and do their repair outside, then there is not enough data for the planning and improvement of service and support. Final answer, Everybody loose.

For me, I'm neutral, if the price is right for me, I do it. If not then forget it. So far, my servicing was done at agent, my main complain is the cost$$ is high when compared to workshop doing the same job outside.

But if I were to compare the servicing charges of the other agents for toyota, Nissan, Hyundai etc etc. then the price is around average.

Personally, I find the service acceptable and quality of workmanship average. Price is on the high side. I may do repair/servicing outside, like servo, if I find the price different too wide.

Cheers

Sky, always good to hear your wise words. [thumbsup]

As for me, I am a bit selfish. I will go to whoever gives me the best pdts/svcs at the best price with reasonable customer service. I am not able to see the big picture of the distributor and its sustainability. Its up to them to provide the best svcs at a reasonable price ... if that happen, not only I will patronise the distributor, many of us I am sure here would.

C708 aka Pete has some "memorable" experience to share abt Czech Auto as well. Think he is in UK now, if not, he will probably write a long "debate" here as to his encounter and experience with CA.

Sky, what would you do if you encouter the same situation as my sis?

I told my sis to talk to the press or Kevin about such bad service but they chicken out.

Frankly,

I also at a lost. Frustrated at the situation I supposed.

For me, I write down in my black book and take it as a bad experience.

Talk to the supervisor and boss there to try and settle the matter amicably if possible.

To each its own. I try not make war, even though the enemy started the first blow.

Don't think they chicken out, maybe they are kind hearted and more forgiving in situation like this.

Cheers

Like is short, relax brother, don't worry be happy.

Seriously, I wonder how some of you can take this type of nonsense from these people.

For me, I will insist to talk to the proper person with authority to have it sort out else no way am I going to leave the matter as it is.

Call me bxxxxxd, stingy axxxxxxe, typical S'porean whatever. But I paid good money to people to get things done for me, if it is not done well, I want an explaination not necessary a refund or what. Accountibility is the word I am looking for...

Very true, [thumbsup] I do hope that they can actually give talks on our

cars and such.. [nod] But look at the staff there,er... I really need

some1 with supreme, in-depth, no nonsense, purely factual knowledge....

Notice that there is only Service

Advisor (SA) and no Customer Service (CS) etc? That means there will be no1

to stand on our side and improve on Customer Relation Management (CRM).

Sigh... Hope, juz hope that they will improve. Dun wanna c the car value plunge

so steep that I wish that I had never taken Driving license. [laugh][laugh]

Got a call from Sammo (sp?) and was told that their car met with an accident whilst in the hands of Czech Auto. Upon further probing, my sis was told that the car's windscreen was smashed up.

thanks for the info. That's 1 reason why i never go to a Agent for my driving needs. I'd rather get a mech to get it settled. Normal servicing any workshop can do it. juz that the ECU needs to be reset, but i understand there is not requirement for any special tools. By way of the Odo and clock reset button can liao.

As for the rest, I'll either get Servo to do it or otherwise wait till its really requires attention.

Fuuny thing is that someone ever told me before Sammo is pretty good. But I have yet to and will never send my car into CA for anything.

In the old days we bitch and whine about the lousy JTA support and workshop. How is CA compared to JTA? Better or worse?

Think the ownership of the car will be too high if CA does not buck up SOON.

i think you mistook liao la. that was Sammo Hung la, from Hong Kong one. :P

I went to Mazda to take a look at the Premacy and the sales lady there quoted me $46K for my 2yr 9mths Ambiente Octavia. Was at several other dealerships and some didn't even want to take in my Octavia. They said that the Skodas are too rare. Thanks CA. I don't think CA is very serious about the Skoda brand. They're just holding on to the brand so that it will not kill their stable VW brand. I drove past CA a couple of times in the past months and it was all so quiet in there.

Sammo said that they broke the windscreen when they sent the car out for a car wash. When my sister's husband spoke to the guy (Jaffa) who actually drove the car out, he said that when he returned the car after testing it, it was still in perfect condition. THEY DID NOT WASH THE CAR. So Sammo must have been lying. The reason why my sis brought her car in for servicing? The car had a faulty lockset on the driver's door and Sammo had promised her that the parts would be available when they brought the car in. But when my sis asked about the lockset, he told her had they had ordered the wrong spare part. They have already waited for several months for this spare part. It was later fixed at Servotronics.

Sigh...

Dude! Don't give 2 shits what other dealers say. Cos its their way of pressing your price down, make you feel your car is worthless, good for nothing. its not just Skoda, every other car that ends up at a dealer is the same.

HI Karen,

Truth or lies, right or wrong, it has no matter of concern here. What Latzu is did by sharing with us this story is right. It is up to use to decide if we should choose to believe him or not.

As for the facts and truths, these we will never know. So lets drop this and move on.
