Can NA cars fix up gauge meters?

what are those that can be fixed? is it water temp, oil temp, vacuum and voltz????

sorry if the questions sound silly but i'm a new bie in this.

heard delphi bf does not have gauges for NA cars. So that leave me with biltz and pivot is it? any one knows how much will it cost to have a triple meter gauge? how about a-pillar ones. is it more expensive to do up?

all cars can be fix with gauges...just that stuffs like boost gauges are pointless for NA cars. Some brands you might like to consider are Defi, Blitz, Pivot, HKS, Swoosh etc.

As for fixing up the gauges, do consider as pillar mouting gauges MIGHT result in drilling of holes which some ppl do not like. Other alternative is to get the 'cup' holder for the gauges where it holds the gauges neatly, around yr dashboard.

You can fix up any type of gauge available, except a boost gauge which will be quite redundant 'cos NA dun have any boost to gauge, rite? wink.gif The types of gauges you can install include volt, oil pressure, oil temp, water pressure, water temp, exhaust temp, vacuum and rpm. The Defi BF range can be fitted on BOTH NA and FI cars without problem.. so you can still go for that BF cool look with an NA car nod.gifthumbsup.gif The BF set will set you back about $300+ per gauge though..sweatdrop.gif so be prepared wink.gif Other brands might be cheaper, with autometer being one of the cheapest around (unless you wanna consider those brandless pieces, or brands no one's heard before).

Hope it helps. wink.gif

hi bros, is there any much diff installing replica gauges and genuine ones example, boost meter? would the reading be way off?

The issue with the replica ones is its durability.. Original ones, like Defi, can last for years, and its resale value is also high.. Take a look at the second hand Defi gauges for sale.. Can cost up to 1.4k for a full set of 6 gauges.. Replica ones are cheap, but wont last long.. Maybe less than a year? Also, you cant sell second hand replicas for much.. Reading wise, it is true that the replica ones are not as accurate as the original ones.. But not way off la.. Hope this helps

Invest a bit more. Go for genuine ones like Defi etc.

I would not go for replica version.

Don't think of putting it at pilar they will block your blind spot.

defi do have for NA cars.you just don't need the boost.but you can replace it with intake manifold pressure gauge.so all in all , you still got 6 (NA suitable) gauges for your NA ride from defi.

what you can install :

fuel press

oil press

oil temp

intake manifold press

exhaust temp

water temp
