Neutral Newbie

Hi,

Received SMS yesterday that PML is offering 730iA @ $265k.

Registration by 31 Dec 03. Spoken to SE and was told that

this promotional price is for all booking in Oct and all the

cars are already in Singapore.

I cannot see the reason for PML to price 730iA @ $265k unless

it is an over-stock or cashflow situation. Can anyone shed any

light on the reason on this promotion ? [confused][confused][confused]

Just one of their promo to gain market share....I understand that there might be some quota to fulfil...and how else than by offering an attractive price.

Have seen more and more on the road of late...It is a great car, performance wise, thumbsup.gifthumbsup.gifbut for looks.....lipsrsealed.giflipsrsealed.gifit takes some getting used to.....sly.gif

Hi En0203,

As my current car is approaching 5 years, I am seriously considering

to upgrade to E240. This 730iA promotion gets me re-think as it seems

to give better value than E240; though one has to consider the resale

and the maintenance cost between a Merc and BMW.

So, what do you think ?

That was relayed to me to be the plan...perhaps you can contact PML for info...or BMW AG

Hi! F1ngolf,

IMHO long term wise E240 is still better choice for it's relatively cheaper maintenance (cheaper in rd tax, insurance, spare parts) as compared to the 7 series [thumbsup]

but if $$ is not a concern to u, 7 series is definitely a better choice for its technology, space & comfort [thumbsup][thumbsup]
