Mine is on Nanolux too. As my windows oredi quite tinted initially and by putting Vkool on it will not pass LTA. Hence decided to go for nanolux since they have different rating which can pass lta. Also nanolux is cheaper. Finally took up the Superlux85 for the front and Superlux70 for the back. Cost me $600.

Must go for the Superlux series. Best of the range. Others provide is Nano and Lux series.

Get to know from the sales person that both Nanolux and Vkool are from same parent company and in terms of technology used to produced the film are the same too. If i remembered correctly, difference in them is, Vkool are made of 7 layered films while nanolux got around 4 or 5 layered.

I personally think that it is ok for the price paid (almost 40% less than the Vkool price). Of course in terms of quality, still find Vkool is still better.

Mostly willing to offer if anyone wanted to have a feel or look in my car.

Installation cost is $150 above the DIY cost.

I dun advice DIY for the both windscreen. Not a easy job. [shakehead] It took 4-6men to do up my car in about 3 hrs.

Did my G9 with Deluxe II for $490. Go tell them you're from any forum to get 20% off on material [thumbsup] although workmanship not very sharp [:/] Overall product satisfaction 7 from 1-10.

True they are all LTA compliant but whether they will pass the rating still depends on whether your window are initially tinted. Below is the matrix for the various range of films

SL60 SL70 SL85 L65 L80 N60

Visible light 66.14% 76.79% 86% 64.01% 82.35% 66.59%

Transmission

Visible light 7.94% 9,23% 9% 12.81% 9.51% 11.93%

Reflection

Total Solar 46.35% 43.92% 32% 46.42% 29.67% 37.7%

Heat Rejection

Ultra Violet 99.98% 100% 99% 100% 99.96% 99.99%

Rejection

SL - SuperLux

L - Lux

N - Nano

Note: To pass LTA the front has to be 70% and the rear got to be 50% light tranmission

SuperLux will be the most effective interm of heat rejection. Hope this matrix is useful when choosing the film.

Get them to commit lor. They will KS and recommand something lower and of course, comfort level reduced.

They will test with some kind of light meter after installation. Think all the installer does that [:/] Bottom line is you want to pass LTA regulation of 70% front and 50% rear [thumbsup]

Just my 2cts
