Meguairs Cleaner Wax/Car Wash

Dunno whether this is old news but IMM Giant is selling Meguairs Cleaner Wax at $10 per bottle and Meguairs Deep Crystal carwash (2Q bottle, purple color) at $10 (stated regular price both $16+ each). Anyone has any experience/comments on them ?

 

Can the Cleaner Wax be used after application of Klasse or Zaino i.e. is the "cleaning" property undesirable in such a situation as it may strip away the good stuff? What would be the ideal situation to use it ?

When was the last time u come across the Meguiars offer? Do you see any offer for the Meguairs Gold Class Wax? I have no experience with Zaino or Klasse, so I can't offer any advice on the use of Cleaner Wax on Zaino or Klasse treated surface.

If you use Klasse AIO and SGP, then you do not need other products liao...

Did you have to use machine to clean up SGP? It is a very difficult to clean up the SGP marks on the car, even after wiping 1st time, a very slight marking is still there.

 

I've a black car though, and I am using microfibre cloth to remove.. Maybe need to go hardcore and use wool cloth to clean.

I saw the offer for Cleaner Wax and Deep Crystal Carwash at IMM Giant last night. Saw Gold Class car wipes also forgot the price), but not the Gold Class wax.

The reason why I asked was that I read in some earlier posts that it would be good to top up with a good quality wax after AIO and SGP (think Carnuba wax was recommended), was wondering whether the Meguiars Cleaner Wax would strip away the SGP. Thanx

My apologies, it's not the Gold Class wipes they are selling, but the Heavy Duty Shop wipes,

the trick is dab the cloth with a little water and it will be much easier to buff the SGP off...

Yes, the cleaner wax will strip some of the SGP away, you should get those with no cleaning agent.......

To ease the removal of SGP spray your MF towel with some non-carnuaba quick detailer (Megaiurs Final Inspection #34 or Eagle One WET) then whip off the SGP.

What does SGP stands for? And what is that?

 

I have quitted using Zaino and am currently using the Meguir Cleaner Wax, Meguir's No.7 Showroom Polish and the Body Scrub. The shine looks much better on my silver car versus those days when I was using the Zaino. But can't tell how lasting it is yet as I have been applying the Meg Cleaner Wax every weekend for the past 4 or 5 weeks.

 

Wondering if anyone can help... repeated applications of Zaino is supposed to help in many ways since its polymer based. How abt Meguir stuffs? Does repeated weekly application help?
