Layer of Clear Coat on Window

hi guys,

 

need to check, if ride's window kana a thin layer of clear coat accidentally, how to remove off (DIY).. can use claybar or rubbing compound ?? Am checking this for a friend....

 

Last time at workshop, I saw the fellas using some rubbing contents & rub the layer off??

Try claybaring first. Not sure whether effective or not..last time my bf's window got something gluey stuck to his window I tried to claybar some of it came off. So give it a try first..
