Basically you would have to tow the whole car off the ground, now wouldnt that cost extra or something? [blush]

When you call the tow truck, you've gotta tell them that you have a 4WD first.

Wat a 'Cutting Edge' design

Nope, my ex Legacy was FWD! [:p]

Thats better actually, for the kind of conditions we get here. The previous generation Legacys have a pronounced boxer beat...quite cool [cool]

Yup, I love it's engine note! [cool] Subaru remains one of the most unconventional car producers in Japan.

AWD or 4x4 needs a flatbed equipped tow truck else it'll destroy the differential gearbox if towed on two wheels [shocked]

That's Y I thinking got a deactivator.

Hi! there, Shagmobil,

If you'd been travelling on the CTE, you'd have seen an EVOVII, hampaupow at turn off to TTSH. After that, gung-ho driver crashing because of keys to a Ferrari.

If I'm not mistaken, normal tow-trucks cost S$40+, with trolley S$120+, then there's the flat-bed one, I forgot to ask.

No chance to see that, most of the time I dont travel CTE during peak hours. I usually take alternative route from NUS back home around 15-20mins vs 30mins in CTE [:)]

To tow a 4x4 car, all you need to do is to attach dollies (?spelling) to the wheels and voila! Most tow trucks should carry dollies just in case they are required. Another instance when dollies are required will be in 2WD cars involved in accidents and hence require towing with the driving wheels on the road. [thumbsup]
