Shell Helix Ultra is damn shitty...the car feels damn sluggish during pick up and fuel consumption sucks...will never use this oil ever again!... [furious]

I recommend a thinner oil like Castrol SLX 0W-30 or even Fuchs Titan 0W-20(I'm using this now...smooth and pick up is a lot better...still monitoring the fuel consumption)....

Btw, I'm driving a Jazz... [;)]

I think it is better to use minerals or semi syns for 1k servicing and the next 5000km until reach 10000km. From then on, use full syn oil. [:)]

I am using the Honda semi syns now. So far clocked 3500km and consumption is somewhat average about 12km/l.

KM charge a $10 servicing fee for bringing your own oil and filter only. If you take their package of oil and filter, I think about $120. Not so cheap IMO. [:/]

For the filter, is there many types? if yes, which 1 to buy n where to buy?

Getting headache for the oil ....many ppl say the amsoil very good...but other sites say castrol rs very good.

Castrol the cheapest I can find is $80...

Fuchs is $100!... [shocked]

I am all for thinner engine oil...

Can get the oil filter from Tanly at Waterloo Street...only $7.80 after GST...Kah motor charges $17 for the oil filter and that's after their so called 25% discount... [furious][shakehead]

Relac la bro... [laugh]

Filter only got 1 type. Buy the original and it is blue in color. Can buy at either Tanly at Waterloo Street Centre or Fong EE at 375, Serangoon Road. Both sell Honda engine oil as well. Would recommend that u get mud flaps for ur ride too. [:)]

Happy hunting for your oil. [laugh]
