Oh I see!.

So what color did you get?

Just curious - if you got your COE in DEC and your car comes in MAR, does that mean that you lost 4 months of the COE? Or the COE starts when you get the car registered?

Mine is graphite pearl....would have loved a black City, but in SG, no black, so that was the darkest colour available.

COE not sure leh, maybe some of the other bros can advise...or can ask your SE....kekeke

I just love it man....my first auto car...now being caught in jams no worries already!...keke

The boot is huge though...the other day when I changed wheels, managed to fit all 4 of my stock 14 inch wheels with tyres into the boot, with space to spare for at least one golf bag!... [thumbsup]

It's not a performance car, but to get around town and on the short highways we have here, it's a blast to drive.

Stock suspension is quite stiff already, but that's fine by me! [sunny]

Great! When you getting your car?

I would change to larger rims as it adds stability to your car. Is your car coming with steel wheels and plastic covers? if so, consider upgrading, it's better, many can vouch for that...you can consider OZ Superleggeras, which are quite popular and are quite reasonable if you purchase them from pxx xxxg Tyre (Justin).

However, if you want 14 inch alloy wheels, I have the 7 spoke Honda ones that came with my City for sale...kekeke [gossip]

June. Yup, mine will come with the steel wheel, plastic cover and the skinny tyre. I would probably transfer my old 15" OZ rim over.

That's right. U need to have very good patience in order to book the City. [laugh] At the end of the day, i thk it is worth the wait. What is the model u book? I-DSi or VTEC? Manual or auto? When can u collect your car?

i-DSI auto. The vtec is $4k more leh.

But i am still a bit unsure how the gear stuffs work. The D is using CVT but the 7-speed is using typical type of gear box with 7 gears?

I'm also i-DSI auto. It's using CVT so for normal driving, we can just switch to D. I have not figure out with the 7 speed mode. But i thk it is activated at the right side of the steering wheel. Shld be the same gearbox but instead of changing gears automatically, we do it ourself. VTEC is 4k more but with 110bhp, ABS and airbag, shld be quite worth also. But for my case, FC is more important than power.

The 7-speed will also change gear by itself if u nv use the "+" "-" on the steering wheel. That makes me wonder how it work between cvt and this.

My guess is the CVT works on its own when left in D or S and it only had 4 speed. The 7-speed mode is an override whereby u shift the gears manually. looks like we have to try to figure out ourself after we collected our ride [laugh] .
