Hi all,

 

Just wondering anyone tried these products. Are they worth the effort and money?

 

And also, for DIY CAI, can pass inspection?

CAI should pass inspection - since modifying intake is 'legal'.

 

I tried Ecotek. Did help my consumption a bit. Performance was not noticeable for my case. Took it out now, trying to get rid of it.

Ecotek didn't work for u? What car are you driving? auto or manual?

look at my avatar. Driving 2.0 iVTEC Stream.

 

Ecotek works on the consumption side. But my car not stock already... so the other things tended to have a better impact. Switched to micro compressors because that set up allowed me to locate the micro compressor to the front of the car - behind the grille and in front of radiator. The Stream engine bay is VERY HOT, so Ecotek suffers from sucking in very warm air in my case - which might explain the no difference in power situation.

yep... actually was recommended by fren who put into his JDM accord and he really good butt dyno one...

Looking for NS cheap mods... not sure if it works on old old cars...

driving a 92 b13 (Auto) by the way...

 

Performace aside, the 2 chrome compressors infront of the radiator looks cool!!

Like 2 laser guns, blasting away any road hoggers..

can't see that clearly behind the grille lah...., but that's a thought... maybe can reorientate to face forward... really like two guns liao
