Turbobrick Neutral Newbie October 12, 2002 Share October 12, 2002 A high flow cat can cost anything from $60+ to $400 depending on the quality and size. A straight pipe essentially cost more for the labor then the darn pipe itself, should be able to get a straight pipe fixed for $50 but it'll be damn loud! btw, no shop I know of in SG sells high flow cat, I got my high flow cat from the US for my brick the last time. ↡ Advertisement

Sparrow Neutral Newbie October 13, 2002 Share October 13, 2002 Hi all, got to throw in one more question .....how to ensure no loss of low-end torque for auto car if want to mod exhaust system??? 1. Piping got to be s-shape (cannot be straight)?? 2. Exhaust outlet cannot be indecently big with respect to the stock diameter?!?!? All comments welcome. Thanks. Turbobrick Neutral Newbie October 13, 2002 Share October 13, 2002 For a mildly modded or stock auto car I suggest going for a straight thru muffler and extractor (if U can find one) and retain the stock pipe diameter to maintain the low-end torque. Using a high-flow cat will benefit as well.
