Andrewkb Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Share August 14, 2003 While washing my car, I saw this Ah-Pek polishing another Stream ... so I popped over to check it out and chat with the owner and "ah-pek polisher". To my surprise the car surface is very very smooth on a dark gray Stream and he only charged $40 !!!! (According to the owner, the ah-pek started work from 11am and when I saw them, it was 3pm). I also checked out his barang barang and notice most of his polish are self-packed mineral water bottles. So I don't know what he uses. Question is, it's dirt cheap but worth it ? ↡ Advertisement
Karsoon Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Share August 14, 2003 Seeing is believing. Since you got to see the shine and feel the smoothness of the polished Stream. Then why still ask? Go for the Ah Pek Polish !!!

Andrewkb Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Author Share August 14, 2003 But he use brandless (OEM) polish which makes me worried lah
Mavvy Clutched August 14, 2003 Share August 14, 2003 perhaps .... give him another month again... go feel that stream..and do closeup inspection.. OEM Polish may not be bad... Branded Stuffs may not be good... all are trial and error... that's life...
Andrewkb Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Author Share August 14, 2003 His contact is Mr Lim (HP: 93826234) Let me know how is his skill hoh ... BTW, what I saw was mirror shine which beats my Zaino polish .. I dunno how he prepped the surface ... the car is SDW plated but the finish is SMOOTH .. went back to see my claybar+Zaino Stream .. make me feel shameful of my own car ... In his bag, I dun see any electric buffling machine leh ...
Andrewkb Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Author Share August 14, 2003 Asked him if he charged more for the 1st polish, since it seems that he put in significant effort to do it up first time round ... but he said no, standard $40 !
Karsoon Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Share August 14, 2003 Maybe the ah pek pours the zaino into those OEM bottles and carry around with him as he knows that alot of people will stare into his van/car to see what are the brands that he's using. Madarmour Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Share August 14, 2003 Why must it be Zaino only? If he work out the surface, I can always layer Zaino in afterwards.
Madarmour Neutral Newbie August 14, 2003 Share August 14, 2003 Well......after someone said my babe's surface is not smooth last week, I think I'd better do something about it but I'm a bit lazy to do surface prep all over again.
