Skoda performance enhancement

Hi all skoda lover

 

wonder if any fellow octavie brothers upgrade their ECU? wanted to improve my ride.

Saw a black Skoda along Lentor Avenue on either last Wed or Thurs nite at

about 8 plus pm with BMW logo, which makes it a BM Skod.

What's the point? The car has identity crisis? It is a shame to any true skoda owners.

 

I've seen some Toyota with v-tec sticker... There's a chance they drop in a honda engine, but I doubt it..

Walk around Jalan Tua Kong, can see an Octavia debadged and rebadged with VW logo.

If those owners are so brand consious, then they should not have bought a SKODA. They remind me of Proton owners rebadging their rides to look like MITs

There is a lot of fun in upgrading our skodas. However, $$$$ can

I have done the following;

 

1) Magfuel - cheap upgrade. Yes, got power.

2) K&N filter - No much diff, but can see a little more responsiveness in

my trottle and idling rpm a little lower.

3) Upgrade to 17" rims. Nah no diff.Only feels better at corners and wet weather

 

Looking forward to;

 

1) changeing brakes. Damn ABS stinks...Wanna change my rear drum to disk.

And front to a larger disk.

 

2) Lowering suspension to further improve handling.

 

3) Put on new dress for her ( perhaps a spoiler first...)

 

4) Exhast (usually comes with the dressing) cos I don't wanna see my exhaust

sticking out weirdly behing my rear skirt. With thermal wrap perhaps at the same

time.

 

5) Grounding

 

ECU for Amby... No lah, really only, at most 10 HP for 4digit $. 30HP can consider.

50 HP, hmmmm will put that into serious consideration. 100HP, Just do It!!
