the spring adjuster effectively add more 'dead' coil into your spring at the end of the coil as the space between the first or second coil is reduced and hence its like 'cutting' your strings and hence provide a stiffening effect.

its does not improve performance but does help when there is a spring 'weakening' problem.

probably your tires are too wide for your car, hence the fender is hitting it when your rear is loaded.

check whether the rims got the rite offset for your car or not.

if not the spring adjuster might not work

check liao, the offset suits my car. The rubbing is at the point where the vertical side wall meets the horizontal surface, the thread pattern (assuming 90degree angle). the stock width of my tyre was 205, now upped at 215. Anyway, could it be all this while i have been overloading my rear seats (4 adults w/ approx load at 270kg)?

btw, does changing to a stiffer spring for the rear (only) helps solve this? Thanks again. thumbsup.gif

The rubbing happens only when the car drives off a hump(not entering) or when slight bumps at the highways. nod.gif.

I have checked, the fenders seems ok except that some rubber-meets-body trace were found. heart pain.... new tyres and rims.... bigcry.gif

what car are you driving?

and check the axle load permissible on your car.(it can be found on a metal plate where your chassis no. is)

confirm wat is the max load permissible.

There's an inner lip on yr fenders that is L-shaped. Depending on how extreme yr rubbing is, most ppl solve problem by rolling it upwards so the lip won't contact the tyre when bouncing up or down. Lye Design does it for a small fee...
