Scratching my head thinking what's the diff btw these 3 pads...apparently, the website recommended using the M1144 material, so which of these use the M1144 material?

Redbox and Silverline are OEM replacement, semi-met compound which works from 0 degrees C compared to C-tech which requires some warm up.

I bumped into this Passat owner and chatted about the Mintex Red Box, he told me that it sucked, can't bite for nuts...was scratching my head man...

Funny, we have two foci with Redbox and they are very pleased with their pads.

Perhaps the passat owner didn't get the pads installed correctly? Or he did not bed-in the pads and cause glazing? That would have rendered the pads useless.

Where did you get your Mintex Redbox? Am trying to source for my car..

I got mine from Hoover at Desker Road, they stock Ford parts. I am sure Gavin is bringing in the Pads for VAG cars.

Gavin is me lah [;)]

I'm pushing my supplier to import the Redbox pads for VAG cars ASAP.....he is not so enthusiastic as VAG cars only in SG market, Malaysia and Thailand not so many VAG cars on the road.

OIC! [;)]

Was cycling and came upon this van with Mintex ad around, M power autoparts, dunno whether they bring in Mintex as well...

So, would the C-Tech, Silverline, or Redbox suit the Brembo Max rotors best?

Though VAG cars only in SG, most VAG people like to change to aftermarket stuff [;)]

The van U saw is probably another parts dealer who takes Mintex from the same supplier I have.

Silverlines/Redbox will suit Brembo max rotors just fine...do U go tracking?

Tracking is an experience to test your car's and your balls' limits. It's should not be taken as an opportunity to "Race" as soon as U lay your wheels on the track..... [crazy]

Like for my brick, 5 laps is the limit for my auto tranny before the ATF burns [shocked]
