Anyone running these tyres? Comments & feedback? The thread pattern looks different to the AVS DB found in US sites.

btw, thot the thread pattern looks quite similar to the Yoko A500 DB, which has been omitted from the current product range.

I know its quite a old thread, but just to share something about this tyre from utube...

Link:

The AVS dB V550, althought looks quite similiar to DNA dB ES501, but the wet performance seems on par with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Impressive.

U're right...its looks almost identical to the Yoko Aspec DB that I've used before.

The Aspec DB's wet grip is terrible. Can skid very easily on wet surfaces. Not recommended if u value safety.

That good? Amazing for a tyre with this type of thread pattern (optimised for comfort/silence)

This shows that we should not judge a tyre by its thread pattern. [:)]

Wonder if this tire is as quiet as the DNA DB aka the ES501. Any idea? [gossip]
