I thought there is some ongoing volcanic activities and everyone left the island as precaution?

Safe travel and don't get pick pocketed. They are everywhere in Europe.

It is Santorini but it appears the state of emergency has just been lifted in March.

Yup, the crowd is a huge  turn off at Santorini.

A lot of people didn’t plan it coz of the earlier shaking, so it is quiet now, the tourists should be back very soon. Lucky you.

Prepare for your super hot weather year end to Australia some of the day. Since you stay such long period. Especially at SA.

Yeah... mentally prepared bro... no choice... historically SA & Vic have the lowest temperature among the cities... hope this year is La Nina can mitigate the max temp a bit... just like in Singapore it's particularly cooler which is weird...

Brisbane summer is really hot and dry.  It is not enjoyable at all.  I shortened my last trip after we kanna a heat wave.

In SG, when it is hot, we stay indoor but when you are traveling, you are forced to be under the sun most of the time. It is a freaking torture.

Hence when I travel, when i see 30 degree celsius, I strike out the destination.  Not negotiable.

You might want to spend more time in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide to better enjoy your refugee trip. 😂😂😂

That's why Brisbane is at the start of the trip and only 3 days... long ago when I travelled to Melbourne in early Feb, it was still quite cold... very pleasant... hopefully it will be like that for the 8 days I'm there... Sydney was really bad over Christmas when I was last there... hot and humid... while Adelaide I visited end of Nov and was still cool... anyway will report back when I'm back... La Nina please do your magic! Ha ha ha...

Actually Brisbane temperature is more stable, most of the time max out at 31 to 32 deg.

Heat wave came only 1 to 2 days and go.

Unlike SA heat wave stay for many days...

My girl is now working and living in Brisbane and she prefer the more stable temperature there.
