Anyway my main issue is I don't like the overly minimalist interior (not just Tesla but even Xpeng G6, Deepal S07, etc) and even more so if there is no driver display (Deepal S07 center display will pivot towards the driver so it somewhat mitigates the no driver display issue). So the SL's interior (display, center console) is much preferable to me. And of course BYD's batteries are another level plus the 10 year battery warranty they are giving.

😜🤣 Errr … not sure how it works! Hahahaha! I was told 8 bids non-guaranteed. To be honest … I was not toooo fussed about not getting the COE cos my Honda CRV is still in good condition (low mileage; serviced every 6 months, washed every other day; parked in covered car park most of time) but backside itchy and went for EV testdrive and was hooked! I test drove the XPG6, Sealion 7 and the MY Legacy. I almost bought the XPG6 cos I felt it was almost the complete package - SE hard sell + gave a nice ++ overtrade (end of Dec) but then I heard Sealion 7 was coming out and decided to wait. BYD SE hard sold and pissed me off! My “CEO” was keen on the MYJ so decided to buy that. Up till today, I have not even test driven the MYJ yet!

Anyway, congrats to all who had gotten their COE. I honestly thought that the COE would be on downward trend especially with the increase in COEs but then again, there is still a month to go with the increase COE quota. I thought it would come down nicely in time for the big “event” in May (my prediction)! It is anyone’s guess about the quota from May onwards.

So the PHV operators bought too many cars? But the requirement meant they can't sell within 3years.

Same. I thought gone case liao but they topped up for me. When are you getting your car?
