The upcoming sedan will be part of the newly founded Entry Luxury category. The smallest sedan to carry the three-pointed star will ride on the Mercedes Modular Architecture. The next-gen CLA won't have a bigger brother anymore since Mercedes is pulling the plug on the CLS at the end of this month.

Stay tuned for more info.

The front reminds me of the 1 series and the back lights, looks Mazda-ish 😂

Yes the front reminds me of the first gen 1 series, especially the headlight.

The rear looks more like the first gen Insignia to me.

The rear door look small. hahaha. Like not very comfortable for the back seat.

The CLA fall into compact car category, so it is really small and definitely not comfortable in the rear, just like any 2+2 hatch.

To me, even the C Class feels cramp if there are pax in the rear.

CLA has always been a sleek looking car. And sleek = cramp and minimum head room.

Yes, head room is severely compromised to give it a sporty look. This is a life style car after all.

Yes. Look like new CLA250 will be using the new geely engine.

As for CLA180/200 currently on renault 1.3l engine, will have to see if merc want to continue using them or use detuned version of the geely engine.
