@107fan no offence, I drove a Ghibli for a good 6.5 years as a daily ride. Drove it in a spirited manner sometimes and it was all good.

I am hoping an example like yours would show up!

How often do you oil change?

Any major replacement over the past 6.5 years? Oil leaks coolant leaks? Electricals?

I am not an Italian car person but interested to hear haha

@107fan I went for annual car maintenance as per warranty. No major replacement. Only had one air con malfunction, in that 6.5 years. No biggie. I had that plus a busted coolant tank with my 3 series which was before the Maserati. The Ghibli was a reliable workhorse to be honest.

@ER-3682 about 90k. Why I didn’t drive to the end? I don’t want it to come the wrong way but I simply have the ability to change car and I wanted to drive the AF one more time. I had the 159 before. I have never driven a car to scrap before.

What’s your personal experience with Italian cars? My current Giulia is my third, and granted that it is not a lot la. And these are all poor men’s toys. The really capable ones will be playing with the horses and the bulls I guess. No experience there.

A very good 6.5 years for your Ghibli indeed.

Somehow all your car models start with Gs 😄 need a GranTurismo too

Yes, I think coolant tank/hose leaks are common for German cars indeed. The stock rubber hoses are rubbish, think better upgrades are silicone.

@107fan Haha, as I mentioned in the Giulia thread, I don’t feel the same excitement with my new G compared to when I had the 159 or the Ghibli. I think it is the age.

Happy Lunar New Year to you mate!

Have you considered an Aston before? 😄 Very different I'm sure but could bring that smile back.

Wishing the same to you too!

@107fan Ahhh that may be a bit out of my league. Hahaha. Dealt with someone who drives a DBS recently. Does make the Giulia look like a toy. Have you had experience with Aston to share?

Not my league either, sadly haven't driven before.

On my list of dream cars is a Rapide - because I like 4dr sedans. Spotted them quite a few times in town so it's not that rare in SG.
