First things first where do you even dispose of the used engine oil lol even if you want to DIY at home.

If V6 needs at least 4, 5 litres, need carry in jerry cans and drive back to workshop and dump at their disposal tanks? I cannot think of any facilities in HDB or private estates that does this. So ley chey!

v6 engine, smelly smelly 6-7L 😁

Actually I have seen many Malaysia plated Peugeot sedans coming into SG. Peugeot 508? I can't pinpoint the model but its 4 door sedan usually. RCZ too.

They seem quite popular in Malaysia...

One car I don't always see a lot is Jaguar XF/XJ in Malaysia.

My guess is that for that segment, completely dominated by 5/7 series or E/S class. A6/A8 yes but also not as common as Merc/beemer there.

Peugeot once had CKD tie up with Naza. So is considered a 'half-local' brand.

Actually. During peak period. Its easy to get lost.

Every 1 rushing. U go there. They ask u park and put key inside.

The worker go take car to repair and put the key inside his pocket.

Chichi copcop. Work until end of day. He might have other task like going to deliver other car or pick up spare parts.

And he proceed without knowing the key still inside his pocket. And he went home etc etc.

Or another one common mistake mech love to make.

WS most scare is key lock inside the car due to auto lock.

So the common practice to wind down the window. Some mech love to put the key on the roof.

Mech A put the key on the roof. Mech B take car to test drive. In a rush he never notice the key on top. He go in start car and go off. ( assuming key inside).

Come back every 1 cannot find key.

Singapore workshop sometimes also got hiccup

few months ago, workshop guy called me, said they locked the key in the car (obviously they didn't wind down the window during the repair)

I asked if he is beside the car, then I used the apps in my phone to unlock the car for him

he sounded relieved, but also never give me discount

u lucky u can use apps,

the most common way ws open lock door is the old school method,

they force open a small gap on your door, push a metal wire in and try to push the lock.

imagine the damage they will do to your door, ( without u even knowing it)😑

that is why I am happy when he called me, asking for a spare key to unlock it

otherwise, I would imagine they won't kajiao the owner, secretly open the door like what you said

the car has frameless windows, relatively easier to force in a wire to hook the door lever

Indeed, one of the first thing you can notice going to a workshop - do they remember to wind down the windows before starting work on your car.

If simple procedure like this also don't practise, really bo standard.

Other things - like for tyre/rims shops, do they use torque wrench, etc..

For German car, the knob is flashed.

Unlikely can use metal wire
