Better road designs, clearer signages, and more effective traffic management would definitely help reduce congestion. We could also benefit from better maintenance to prevent potholes and uneven surfaces that can lead to accidents. Anyone here have suggestions on specific areas that need urgent attention or examples of successful road improvements elsewhere. What you said is what LTA do the other way round. The road design always bad, traffic management help to increase congestion and never maintain their roads at all or anyhow patch the road surface to make your car ride more bumpy. Difficult to educate pedestrians don't anyhow jaywalk, no matter simi sai special zone they have implemented, pedestrians still default anyhow jaywalk and without looking before they jaywalk. Like i always see people when walking along a pathway along a road, then when they reached a road for cars to turn into carpark, 99.9% pedestrians never turn their head to check before stepping out, all simply just like that walk across. And i always amazed why these people never get knock down by cars?

Thats why you said it is a dangerous combination. But i still think thought pedestrians should look and check before crossing at any opening road? Isn’t such a practice is being though in school? I still remember you must stop before crossing and look left, look right and then look left again before crossing. However, nowadays you see those kids crossing the road, they simply hold up their hand and just cross, as if like their hand has special power that every cars must stop and let them cross, no matter whether it is safe or not to cross. Yes, confirmed lack of skill and effort, and never care attitude, plus never use their brain while doing. How could they can do the patching until so uneven, a hump and never align with the existing road surface?! Then LTA also one kind, when the holes appear again, they would just blame the weather and telling you not their fault and problem of all those holes. ↡ Advertisement
