LTA - how to improve roads ah?

I understand below most Roads,there are Fibre Optics,Gas Pipes,Water Pipes,Telecoms Lines,Sewage & Electric Cables,that is why Dig here,Dig there.

Just do proper road repair... 

Stop having patching across the whole width of the road that are like mini road hump black in colour.

Level the manhole covers with the road surface. 

Just get a main contractor to settle everything, then if necessary, charge to cost relevant manhole owner. Instead of one party do road paving ...then the manhole cover became a pothole like when it's not leveled with the road paving.

MND should oversee LTA instead of MOT? 

Or make them communicate with each other on their projects....

I think this is the most basic attitude to possess if you want to be in the silver service. 

Not your area don't kay kiang stick out your neck asking other departments to settle. Just keep quiet tell the public wrong department so got time to plan how to spend your bonus.

I don't think predictive maintenance will save any money since it doesn't really save anytime in the actual repair works even though it will help in formation of pot holes before it occurs and prevent damage to vehicles. That being said, this needs big data to come up with a strong algorithm. This is not like monitoring the current of a motor and predict when it will breakdown. It will be hard to implement predictive maintenance on roads. Need to go ask those amdk.

I think everyone knows that our workers and construction companies are just very low in quality.

It's not that I don't appreciate the work put in and I have seen how tough it is to work under the weather. But let's call a spade a spade. Our workers produce very mediocre work.

Since covid many road markings nowadays are still very pre covid painted...i only see orchard road and kpe got fresh ones...many times i have to agar agar...especially in current rainy days...😅

You need to feedback to LTA to tell them fade road markings, if not the fade road markings would be there forever. Since LTA never check on their road condition.
