So fast another case 😱

A 50-year-old taxi driver went to a coffee shop for a meal. He said that he sat down and waited for no one to sell him coffee. He shouted to order coffee and argued with the boss. He was stabbed in the head with a bread knife. He was sent to the hospital with five stitches with blood all over his face. The boss was arrested. The incident happened at about 6:30 pm on Monday (January 6) at a coffee shop at Block 56, Upper New Changi Road in Bedok.

According to the footage taken by the public, an uncle was sitting on a chair with a lot of blood flowing from his head. His clothes were also stained red. Two police officers stood beside him. The reporter of "Shin Min Daily News" found the injured uncle, Mr. Chen (59 years old, taxi driver).

When he was interviewed, he said that he went to the coffee shop for dinner after getting off work and handing over the car that afternoon. After sitting down, he wanted to drink coffee, so he waited at his seat for the staff to help him place an order. "But I called several times, and they all turned a blind eye. They didn't come to greet me when they passed by me. In addition, the tea stall was a distance away from my seat, so I shouted loudly."

He said he had diabetes and his legs and feet were uncomfortable, so he sat down and called the staff. He revealed that later a tattooed man came over and told him to stop shouting. He also walked over to ask the other person's identity, and the other person claimed to be the boss. "I asked him if it was wrong to buy coffee. He suddenly ran back to the tea stall, took out a shiny object and hit me on the head. After I fell down, he kicked me with his feet."

Mr. Chen said the incident happened suddenly and he didn't remember the whole process, but he lost a lot of blood and felt dizzy. He slowly walked back to his seat and called the police himself. After he was sent to the hospital, he had five stitches on his head.

A female vendor in the coffee shop who did not want to be named told reporters that the owner of the coffee shop had just returned from outside and saw the uncle shouting, so she walked over to stop him. "Before the incident, I heard the uncle shouting for five to ten minutes, and then I complained to the boss that no one came to place an order for him." She also said that the owner of the coffee shop hit the uncle's head with a bread knife in the tea stall.

When asked, the police confirmed that they had received a report. The spokesperson said that a 59-year-old man was sent to the hospital in a conscious state, while another 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of using a dangerous weapon to cause hurt and the investigation is ongoing. When asked, the Civil Defence Force said that after receiving a report, it sent one person to Changi General Hospital.

This might be one sided story.... but stabbing due to disagreement definitely not ok.

So many coffeeshop already self service, he still expect to be served.

Usually in a coffeeshop there are coffee auntie come to ask you want to order drinks boh. So this guy assume that all coffeeshop still have such service.

But still cannot understand why people now have become so violent, not happy with other people, just take knife to stab on him/her! 😓

A few kopitiams I frequent stop solicit drinks order only to revert after a while becos many patrons prefer not to order the pricey drinks due to inflation yet hog the tables tcss after makan...😂
