Find it really hard to believe that in this day and age of AI, the scammers are still too lazy to use these tools to polish up their messages, correct typos [laugh]

Well it was the easiest to identify the hundreds of Tan Ah Kow back then. I used to flip the phone book and was amazed by the number of Tan Ah… and Tan Bee ,Tan Poh

Phone book? What that?

I doubt back then scammers would wait for lover letters in the mail to try get target's money. They had to do everything personally, face-to-face.
