NRIC number is private or public info?

For my understanding, don't our NRIC number runs in series? Meaning, if your last digit is 1, there should be someone else NRIC ends with 2 after you and so on. Do we need that name to identify ourselves or just NRIC can do anything?

So now confirm NRIC is still personal data but no need mask it.

Just like wear low-cut top but no need wear bra.

No la, harakiri is not their practise, maybe even her boss also tell her no need to harakiri. Just thick skin continue to be minister, furthermore this matter also not her fault what. Lol.

Still treat people as stupid, that we need her to tell us not to use nric number as password . Who in the right mind will do that in the first place nowadays? People are actually more concerned about impersonation, not password.

For password, i am smart enough to use my nric number in reverse order. There, that'll teach those scammers [laugh]
