Disappointing for sure but maybe give him a few more races. Checo was a veteran already and still performing like shite. Lawson is still new so not exactly the same.

Ferrari suffer the embarrassment of both card getting disqualified due to technical reasons that are beyond the driver's control. One car underweight, the other the skid plate insufficient height. The tech manager prepping the cars should take the blame.

At the risk of stereotyping nationality, the Italians have never been good at execution of plans compared to their German and British counterparts. From WW2 battles, to the questionable build quality of their cars. The Italians are very good at designing beautiful, sexy looking cars and bags that are great in looks.

Ferrari should try and emulate their three biggest rivals who are good at both race strategy and race execution. Mclaren, Mercedes and Red Bull (along with Williams) are all based in England. Is it just a coincidence that the big rivals whose HQ are in England have taken the podium places?

Ferrari should change colour to something that won’t make them act like a bull charging at a matador. Ownself smash everything and shoot own foot.  [laugh]

Confirmed that Tsunoda finally gets the seat he should already have had.

There was a time when Red Bull was so dominant that everyone fancied that second seat as though it produced automatic podiums.

But with even the slump in Verstappen’s form, the car itself starts coming into focus:

Either Lawson is as sh!t driver

or Verstappen is a generational talent hauling that Red Bull to finishing positions it has no business being near

Unless you have lots of daddy or sponsor money I don’t think Lawson is so terrible to have made it to F1

Unless Tsunoda has a natural driving style similar to Verstappen, or crazy adaptability, he’s probably not going to do well.

But I hope he does. It’s just that the Red Bull #2 seat looks like it’s a poisoned chalice as long as Verstappen is there.
