The details of the December 1st open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) are as follows:

Tender opens: Monday, 2 December 2024, 12 noon
Tender closes: Wednesday, 4 December 2024, 4.00 pm
Tender results: Wednesday, 4 December 2024 (Available on www.onemotoring.lta.gov.sg)

The total quota available for this tender is 2,684 for the following vehicle categories:

NON-TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES
Category A : Cars (up to 1,600cc and maximum power up to 97kW (130bhp); and fully electric car with maximum power up to 110kW (147bhp)) => 1,037
Category B : Cars (above 1,600cc or maximum power above 97kW (130bhp); and fully electric car with maximum power above 110kW (147bhp)) => 689
Category D : Motorcycles => 517

TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES
Category C : Goods Vehicles and Buses => 262
Category E : Open Category => 179

Will be exciting in two more months when more COEs will be allocated from Feb onwards. Meantime, i dont see how coe price can go up now.

Traditionally Dec and Jan are seasonally soft for the car market.

Cat A may gravitate to around $75K~$80K and Cat B to around $95~100K.

Cat A $75k means can get new Honda Freed at $145k. I hope you are right but seriously no chance. This round Cat A will be $90+k again

If coe really comes down, then just in time for the GE and people would thumbs up to gahment and support them. Lol.

master Yoda says have patience!! good things comes to those who wait.....feb will flood the market with COE, and then March - June prices will come down and down....so wait! and i suspect March or maybe April onwards is the big day.....down down down...happy happy for all...

also suspect from now on trend will be down - maybe every session down by a few k....till Feb..

That's true. Dunno how progressive is progressive.
