Jan has car show. I guess the feb coe quota increase is probably to meet the expected spike in demand, thereby maintaining coe at ard 90k to 100k for Cat A (cat B = cat A+10k~15k), not letting it run away but also not reducing it.

I am too wondering why coe price can go up despite the impending 20,000 coe allocation from Feb onwards. Maybe LTA is scratching their heads too.

That time CAT A $105K so now it’s 10K less already

But if LTA dont release the detail, it will only benefit the car dealer unless the car dealer offer COE dollar to dollar rebate, else doubt they will "lower" their price in view of unknown quota increase
