Biker don't know how to protect himself.

No sense of danger from a blind junction.

Not saying biker is wrong, just no sense of protecting self from danger.

Car turning also no sense of danger from a blind junction and need to inch until pass truck and have full visibility.

The driving instructors in SG probably also never explain the concept of blind junctions.

People reading this maybe also thinking simi jamesc talking about blind junction?

If no one knows what I am talking about its ok instructors never explained this.

This accident people will say its not my fault, its an accident I didn't see you.

But its not an accident, its not bad luck,

its bad training.

Better instructors and people know how to negotiate this kind of junctions

mean no more superman flying and angry he got hit

and no lady with damaged bumper wasting her time talking to superman.

This case driver not proactive, biker not proactive

and lorry driver also not proactive.

If I was the lorry driver I would e looking at my left mirror

to see if anyone on the left lane heading for a nice crash

and then decide if I horn to prevent an accident or

let it happen and post on MCF!

Lorry driver also maybe never think look at the left mirror and prepare to horn for car to stop.

Maybe lorry driver is a big fan of superman and love to see up up and away

like me!

Biker also not a thinking biker!

He never think truck stop for what?

If truck stop then go pass very slowly just in case a car is turning.

Biker did not occur to think like this.

Because he is not a thinking biker

he is a flying biker!

Biker suffered pain because he is not a thinking biker.

Biker blame the driver for his pain.

But the biker could have prevented his pain if he was smarter and knew what to look out for.

Now the only question is will biker learn the painful way and slow down next time

or it will happen to him again.

The other question is will everyone reading this know what to do when turning in front of a truck

and what to do when passing a truck on the left?

Did I prevent one accident or did I just waste a few minutes of my life typing this?

In my view, the Motorcyclist never have any fault, the Lorry stopped because the SUV blocked it's Path, then the Lady Driver thought it,since the Lorry let her pass, the Road is clear,in my view, the Motorcyclist is not Speeding at all,100% the Lady's fault....if another Big Lorry is in place of the Motorcycle,i think the SUV ''Flatten''.

Regardless of what happened before the incident, no excuse for merc to brake like that on expressway. What if there are passengers on bus who got hurt? If he has a problem with bus, then submit to TP.

Now it's all his fault.

Yes. Lots of people always want to add that there is a trigger before. Sure. But it’s never an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

@Jamesc Are you ok? Do you need so many posts to one accident?

Anyway back to main topic, the biker needs to be more defensive and proactive driving at such blind junctions. Kept on pointing fingers giving people the impression of self-entitlement and not learning lesson.

I personally see it as biker's fault altogether. Toyota driver inches out slowly. If Toyota was to be faster, biker could have T-boned the side instead.

Most likely the half of the Lady's SUV already in the path of the Lorry,so Lorry Driver just stop instead of Overtaking on the Left.

You see properly...the SUV hit on the Biker's Legs...if the SUV is inching out..the Biker will hit the SUV's Door...You all never Ride a Motorcycle before, stop saying it is the Rider's Fault...if the Motorcycle position is a King Kong Lorry..that mean also the Lorry's Fault.?

Biker zero defensive, car also clueless, just assume lorry stop means all stop, never bother to stop in front of the lorry and inch out slowly.
