That's why I want it... nowadays not easy to top up physical card except if you have the NFC card... seamless cashless payment is good... don't like to handle cash in foreign country...

Apparently I lost the password for the VEP application done in 2019.  So now here is the problem 

when logging on, I click on the reset password with my email.  An activation link is sent to my email.  The link sends me back to the original log in page with no way to change password

i emailed them at the VEP office.  They sent me a link which leads me back to the same login page

i I created a new email and a new account.  Seems to work then it says that NRIC belongs to another account and I cannot proceed any further

 

very sian.  Now I think I just wait until nearer Oct then see how

How long did you wait between submission and seeing the 'In Progress' button appear?

I was wondering if cos my tag is still valid until next week, I may not get any response until my tag officially expires... then some minion will update the system so that 'In Progress' appears for mine... ha ha ha... greatest joke of the century... very good to score points - our department very busy leh... need more manpower... see everyone working from 8-5 non-stop... (actually doing menial stuff that a well-programmed website can do without the human input)... oh well... Malaysia Boleh!

less than a week, today is 7th day, i didn't login to check past few days, but first few days still showing the renew button even after submission.

Watched the video, he is saying outright that we are just not taking him seriously and on 1 Oct 24, it will be enforced. If status quo on 1 Oct 24, his credibility will be gone.  Let's see.

he needs to solve out the many issues of the registration if not JB economy will suffer comes 1st Oct. Limited cars can go in, the malls, shops owners will make noise and you know the King from where now, he will need to U-turn then.

There is a chip shortage... was super difficult to get immediately after the pandemic... always out of stock on the TnG platform...

Did you just try putting in some new password and see what happens? Got to email them again to tell them what happens... how long did you wait before you got a reply?

Ha ha... we'll see... anyway hor... he can say enforce but if never do who knows? Cos he can say random checks otherwise will add to jams at the two crossings...

Exactly... but from my awareness, just need to register can already... so for most who haven't registered, it's not a problem... just print out the registration confirmation sheet or renewal confirmation sheet will do... didn't say must have the tag mah... I think that's the game plan... so they may push those who didn't register one side and make them register... technically it still works cos our cars are in the system... don't really need the tag actually... the tag is just for convenience only... correct?

not really if full implementation then will need to have the tag as the last gantry will detect any outstanding before opening.

For people waiting to get the tag, means no tag mah... so must have manual checks lor...

New password it says invalid

The other time I sent email only 24 hour wait but link only went to login

Yes, politics is about compromises and if Johor economy is severely affected, I am sure they will provide further indulgence of 3-6 months, especially if it is due to backend issues at their end.  

But if by 1 Oct 24, majority of SG car drivers refusing to sign up, I won’t be surprised more “sticks” (than carrots) will be used.

Many people talked like Malaysia is a failed state (yet they love it deep deep), it is not. A failed state won’t have digital payment systems that can be used to pay RC and road tolls.  So those hoping for a permanent u-turn is likely going to be disappointed. It is just a matter of time, like our ERP 2.0.  😂
